Peanut Butter Granola
- 1 1/2 cup lite or sugar free pancake syrup
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 3 c. quick cooking oats
- 1/4 c. nuts (any kind)
- 1/4 c. raisins
- dash of cinnamon
2. Once the peanut butter is melted, combine remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl. Make sure the syrup is covering every bit of the oats.
3. Spread the thin layer of mixture on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes and take out and flip with spatula then bake for another 7 minutes.
4. Let cool for about five minutes, then add to your favorite yogurt and VoilĂ ! You know have your very own homemade granola that will save you a couple of extra bucks from buying it in the store.

Not only will it save money, but I'm sure it will save calories and fat as well. It looks really good. I'm surprised Brandon left you enough peanut butter to make it though. :)
ReplyDeleteI was kind of sweating if I would have enough peanut butter. Brandon had no idea that I was planning to use it for the granola. A jar of peanut butter is dangerous in our household.
